- From the M6 motorway leave at junction 36 for Kendal/Lakes.
- Turn right towards Workington (A5092) three miles beyond Newby Bridge.
- At Broughton take the A595 towards Workington until Gosforth.
- Follow the map to Nether Wasdale.
From the North
- Leave the M6 at Carlisle (junction 44) and follow the A595 (signed Barrow).
- Turn off at Gosforth and follow the map to Nether Wasdale
