Bike Hire & Archery

We offer bike hire from the Screes Inn, there are many bridleways of all levels in Wasdale & the surrounding areas, a great way to see the valley.

Archery is also available through West Lakes Adventure, it is advisable to pre-book by telephone.

West Lakes Adventure

Based at the Screes Inn is our very own adventure company.

Run by Steve (the Landlord) who has more than 18 years working in the outdoors for a large outdoor & corporate events business, he has gained many qualifications during this time.

We are very lucky to be based in Nether Wasdale in the Western Lake District, less than a mile from the stunning Wast Water and only a few miles away from Wasdale, home to some of the biggest mountains in the country including Scafell Pike, Great Gable and Pillar.

Our location really could not be better for any Lake District activities including rock climbing, mountain scrambling, ghyll scrambling, fell walking, mountain biking and canoeing.
